Luigi Pecci Museum

Nio Architects designed the Luigi Pecci museum extension like an outer ring that embraces the existing building. To create this rounded shape the architect chose lightweight aluminum standing seam cladding. The mechanical character of the existing building is empowered by the AluNatur Gold Brushed finish of the extension, which was chosen by Maurice Nio for its great fit with and reflection of the Tuscany sunlight. In this way, contemporary art is surrounded by contemporary architecture.
